This Is Not A Protest

The violence in Minneapolis may have started as a protest, but somewhere along the line, it appears to have become organized. Several telltale signs appeared, and many of us became aware that special interests had put their thumb on the scale, changing their style of protest to, yes, I am going to say it, insurrection.  I am referring to a very insightful article by Randy DeSoto in the Western Journal.

As I am posting this, President Trump has held talks with Governor Waltz and Mayor Frey. The president is sending Tom Holman to straighten out the mess. The Governor and Mayor have agreed to allow local police to help restore order.

'This Is Not a Protest': Former Special Ops Soldier Says Insurgent Tactics Being Used in Minnesota

Eric Schwalm, who identified himself as a former U.S. Army Special Forces soldier, says the tactics being employed in Minneapolis by leftist agitators are reminiscent of insurgency tactics he witnessed in Afghanistan.

His comments came in response to the reported infiltration of a Signal group chat being used by leftists to track and thwart Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations in Minneapolis, Fox News reported.

Fox News correspondent Alexis McAdams, who is on the ground in Minneapolis, posted Sunday on social media, “I’ve covered a lot of protests. Never seen anything quite like this. Organized is an understatement.”

This is not protesting. This is insurrection.

“These people have spotters… all over the city,” she told Fox News host Sean Hannity earlier this month. “So they see who pulls in and out of the federal building, whether they’re ICE agents or not. They want to track you down, they want to put you in a database, and then it’s shared, according to DHS sources, through Signal chats.”

Schwalm posted Sunday on X, “As a former Special Forces Warrant Officer with multiple rotations running counterinsurgency ops — both hunting insurgents and trying to separate them from sympathetic populations — I’ve seen organized resistance up close. From Anbar to Helmand, the pattern is familiar: spotters, cutouts, dead drops (or modern equivalents), disciplined comms, role specialization, and a willingness to absorb casualties while bleeding the stronger force slowly.

“What’s unfolding in Minneapolis right now isn’t ‘protest.’ It’s low-level insurgency infrastructure, built by people who’ve clearly studied the playbook,” Schwalm contended.

“Signal groups at 1,000-member cap per zone. Dedicated roles: mobile chasers, plate checkers logging vehicle data into shared databases, 24/7 dispatch nodes vectoring assets, SALUTE-style reporting (Size, Activity, Location, Unit, Time, Equipment) on suspected federal vehicles,” the Army veteran noted.

He went on to argue that there is nothing “spontaneous” about what’s happening in Minneapolis.

“When your own citizens build and operate this level of parallel intelligence and rapid-response network against federal officers — complete with doxxing, vehicle pursuits, and harassment that’s already turned lethal — you’re no longer dealing with civil disobedience. You’re facing a distributed resistance that’s learned the lessons of successful insurgencies: stay below the kinetic threshold most of the time, force over-reaction when possible, maintain popular support through narrative, and never present a single center of gravity,” Schwalm wrote.

He concluded, “I spent years training partner forces to dismantle exactly this kind of apparatus. Now pieces of it are standing up in American cities, enabled by elements of local government and civil society. That should keep every thinking American awake at night.”

Former CIA officer Rick de la Torre agreed with Schwalm’s assessment, posting on X, “I have 20 years of experience in the intelligence community, and yes, what we’re seeing in Minnesota is closer to insurgency than a protest. A protest doesn’t feature thousands of people on comms, tracking law enforcement to sabotage operations…”

Vice President J.D. Vance, himself a Marine Corps veteran who served in Iraq, wrote Saturday on X, “This level of engineered chaos is unique to Minneapolis. It is the direct consequence of far left agitators, working with local authorities.”

Governor Tim Walz and Mayor Jacob Frey

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz posted Saturday following the death of 37-year-old agitator Alex Pretti, who had a gun on his person when he got into a skirmish with Border Patrol officers, “I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening. The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.”

That is the whole point of the leftists’ insurgency: Force the “invaders” to leave.

Walz told reporters on Sunday, “If it was the intention of Donald Trump to make an example of Minnesota, then I’m damn proud of the example that the world is seeing.”

“Damn proud?” His and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey’s hot rhetoric and defiant stand may have helped get at least two people killed.

Trump posted on Truth Social on Monday that he had a “very good call” with Walz about working together to remove criminal illegal aliens from Minnesota.

Hopefully, cooler heads will prevail and the insurgency can end. 1.

Music Isn't Only Heard-- It's Felt

I normally write about politics. Sometimes I run across something that can not be ignored. Most of us have an impression of superstars that is not always right.  I have not followed Eric Clapton's Career, and I have no idea what his music is like.

Here is a little insight into a great artist and how he dealt with an interesting situation.

This brought a tear to my eye.

Eric Clapton was deep into a guitar solo when something in the front row pulled his focus away from the music.

Twelve thousand people were on their feet—cheering, shouting, swaying with the rhythm. And right in the middle of all that noise, a teenage girl sat perfectly still.

September 23, 1992. The National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, England. Clapton was midway through his Journeyman tour, riding the high of a sold-out crowd. He’d already torn through “Bad Love,” “Pretending,” and “Before You Accuse Me.” The arena was alive.

But in the third row, center section, one person wasn’t moving.

Her name was Sarah Mitchell. She was sixteen years old. And she was profoundly deaf—born that way. She couldn’t hear Clapton’s guitar. Couldn’t hear the screaming fans. Couldn’t hear the amplifiers shaking the building.

But she adored Eric Clapton.

Her mother, Linda, had tried for years to prepare her. Music, she explained gently, wasn’t something Sarah would ever experience the way other people did. Sarah refused to accept that.

She learned music through vibration. She pressed her hands to speakers at home. She studied concert videos, watching Clapton’s fingers until she memorized every motion. She learned to read lips so she could follow lyrics she’d never heard. She didn’t need sound, she insisted.

For her sixteenth birthday, Sarah wanted one thing: to see Eric Clapton live.

Linda hesitated. She worried her daughter would feel isolated—surrounded by people reacting to something she couldn’t hear. But Sarah signed back with certainty: I don’t need to hear it. I can feel it.

So Linda bought the tickets. Third row. Center. Money she couldn’t really spare.

That night, Sarah sat with both hands pressed to her chest, feeling the bass travel through her body. Her eyes never left Clapton’s hands. She wasn’t clapping—she couldn’t hear when songs ended. She wasn’t singing—she’d never heard her own voice. She was absorbing everything in her own way.

Clapton noticed her halfway through “Layla.”

At first, he thought she might be unwell. While everyone around her jumped and screamed, she sat completely still—focused, intense. He kept playing, but he couldn’t stop watching her.

Then he noticed her hands.

They pressed against her chest in perfect rhythm with the beat.

She couldn’t hear the music—but she was feeling it.

Clapton realized instantly: she was deaf.

In the middle of the song, he stopped playing.

The band froze. The music cut out. Twelve thousand people fell into confused silence as Clapton walked to the edge of the stage and pointed into the crowd.

“You,” he said into the microphone. “Come here.”

Sarah didn’t react. She couldn’t hear him. She was trying to understand why the vibrations had suddenly stopped.

Linda grabbed her arm and began signing frantically: He’s pointing at you. Eric Clapton is pointing at you.

Sarah shook her head in disbelief. No. That couldn’t be right.

Clapton gestured again—this time to security. Moments later, guards were guiding Sarah down the aisle as the crowd parted, whispering. Linda followed, crying.

At the stage, Clapton knelt and reached out his hand. That’s when he saw it clearly—the unmistakable way deaf people study mouths, searching for meaning.

He turned to his crew. A chair was brought out and placed center stage.

Clapton gently helped Sarah sit down.

Then he did something no one expected.

He turned his amplifier up—far louder than usual. Low, powerful bass rolled through the arena. Then he moved the amp directly behind Sarah’s chair so the vibrations traveled straight through her body.

His sound engineer panicked.

Clapton stepped to the mic.

“Ladies and gentlemen,” he said quietly, “this is Sarah. She’s been experiencing this concert in a way most of us never think about. She can’t hear the music—but she feels it. She watches it. She understands it.”

Then Clapton turned back to his guitar.

And he played—for her.

Not louder. Not faster. Just deeper.

Sarah closed her eyes as the vibrations wrapped around her. Tears streamed down her face as the music moved through her bones instead of her ears.

The crowd didn’t make a sound.

For the rest of the song, Eric Clapton played to a single person—proof that music isn’t only heard.

Sometimes, it’s felt. 1.

Attorney General Pam Bondi lost no time in finding and arresting the leaders of the Cities Church in St. Paul. Bondi, who many in the media have claimed is not pursuing and apprehending the criminals, has put the hammer down on the perpetrators of the protesters at the Cities Church.

Nekima Levy Armstrong, the alleged ringleader of the anti-ICE protest that stormed the Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, was arrested.

Bondi announced to the Press that  “So far, we have arrested Nekima Levy Armstrong, a civil rights attorney who helped organize the protest, who allegedly played a key role in organizing the coordinated attack on Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota.” 1. Bondi went on to inform the Press, “UPDATE: A second arrest has been made at my direction,” she wrote. “Chauntyll Louisa Allen has been taken into custody.” 2. She’s listed as the clerk of the St. Paul Board of Education. 3. 4.

Attorney General Bondi went on to affirm, “Listen loud and clear: WE DO NOT TOLERATE ATTACKS ON PLACES OF WORSHIP,” she wrote.

Several other protestors are under surveillance and may be up for prosecution. One other note: our old pal Don Lemon was a willing participant in the outrage, and he may be up on charges along with these ANTIFA Type hooligans. We can only hope some jail time will be meted out for these dregs on society.

The Democrats Have Finally Gone Too Far.

The FBI has issued subpoenas to Governor Tim Walz, Mayor Jacob Frey, and Keith Ellison. (Stephen Maturen / Getty Images; Stephen Maturen / Getty Images; Monica Morgan / Getty Images)

If you have been watching Fox News, you are aware of the urging of Governor Tim Walz, Mayor Jacob Frey, and Attorney General Keith Ellison to get in the faces of the ICE officers and try to disrupt them from doing their duty to arrest illegal alien criminals and send them back to their home country.

By not allowing Minneapolis police to inform ICE when these criminals are available for transfer to Federal authorities, the ICE agents must root the criminals out in their neighborhoods. The protestors, or should I say paid activists, are organized to get in the way and disrupt federal authorities from doing their job of rounding up criminals, murderers, rapists, child molesters, human traffickers, and God only knows what else they are convicted of.

Peaceful protesting is allowed, but throwing fireworks, iced water bottles, rocks, and bricks is an attack and is a crime. The three amigos have tried to walk back their ill-advised urgings to protest and video, and disrupt ICE. Now the piper is coming to collect on their indiscretions.

For months, Americans have been complaining that the Department of Justice has not indicted and tried anyone for all the crime and fraud going on in the country. Yes, they have caught and or prosecuted many criminal aliens, but never a high-up official. I think the floodgates have been opened. Get ready for the indictments. It may be time for some people to join Rosie O'Donnell and flee the country.

I urge you to read the article below for more detailed information.

Breaking: FBI Issues Subpoenas to Tim Walz, Jacob Frey, and Keith Ellison

The Department of Justice reportedly issued grand jury subpoenas on Tuesday to some of Minnesota’s top Democratic lawmakers, including Gov. Tim Walz, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, Attorney General Keith Ellison, and others.

Sources told Fox News that the Justice Department served five state government offices as part of a federal probe into conspiracy, coercion, and obstruction of federal law enforcement during Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations in Minnesota.

The sources added that the Federal Bureau of Investigation — the enforcement arm of the DOJ — served subpoenas for specific records and communications.

“When the governor or the mayor threatens our officers, when the mayor suggests that he’s encouraging citizens to call 911 when they see ICE officers, that is very close to a federal crime,” he said.

Walz attempted to flip the script when the investigation was announced by blaming the Trump administration for “weaponizing the justice system.”

This comes after news broke last week about the federal government investigating Walz and Frey for allegedly hindering law enforcement.

U.S. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche told Fox News the liberal lawmakers’ anti-ICE stance and public statements against federal officials are borderline criminal.

“Two days ago, it was Elissa Slotkin. Last week it was Jerome Powell. Before that, Mark Kelly,” Walz wrote on the social media platform X. “Weaponizing the justice system against your opponents is an authoritarian tactic. The only person not being investigated for the shooting of Renee Good is the federal agent who shot her.”

Frey also posted on X, writing: “This is an obvious attempt to intimidate me for standing up for Minneapolis, local law enforcement, and residents against the chaos and danger this Administration has brought to our city,” Frey wrote on X. “I will not be intimidated. My focus remains where it’s always been: keeping our city safe.”

White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson told Fox News on Monday that “there is no low these radical leftists won’t stoop to.”

“Jacob Frey and Tim Walz have whipped these rioters into a frenzy and turned them loose to wreak havoc on Minneapolis,” she said.

Jackson added, “Frey and Walz should be ashamed for inciting such chaos, but the Trump Administration will continue enforcing the law.”

This also comes after a group of agitators stormed the Christian Cities Church sanctuary in St. Paul on Sunday, interrupting a service to scream and harass those in attendance.

Department of Justice officials have already said they intend to charge those involved, including former CNN host Don Lemon, who claimed to be covering the chaos as a journalist.

Harmeet Dhillon, who serves as U.S. Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division, said Monday that Lemon will be charged under the “Ku Klux Klan Act” of 1871, and that he already admitted to knowing “exactly what was going to happen inside that facility.”

She added, “Everyone in the protest community needs to know that the fullest force of the federal government is going to come down and prevent this from happening and put people away for a long, long time.”

“IMMIGRANTS, NOT AMERICANS, MUST ADAPT.”

The rant below is from a lady whom I have known for many years. I had no idea that she was political, and I don't think politics is her most important thing. In fact, she likes to grow flowers. Nevertheless, we can take it for so long, and then we must voice our opinion. Miss HLL lets it rip, and I must say, "She hits it out of the park." See if you agree or disagree.

I've been saying this all along! I may piss a few of you off by posting this. We can handle it one of two ways: you can talk about it like adults or you can unfriend me. Your choice. You have your opinion, and I have mine.

Before anyone gets their panties in a wad, I add that my ancestors came here from other countries, as did most everyone else's ancestors, and they learned the language and worked, and never once did I hear any of them trash America. They became citizens, were proud to be one, and some served in the military!

I am nice to everyone, and I have no problem with anyone coming here and making a good life for themselves and their family, BUT if you are coming here and expect us to become what you just came from, then that’s not happening! Return to your own country and make it better, where you can be proud to live in it.

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of AMERICA, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

“IMMIGRANTS, NOT AMERICANS, MUST ADAPT.”

Take it or leave it. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks, we have experienced a surge in patriotism among the majority of Americans. This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials, and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.

We speak ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, learn the language.

Most Americans believe in God. This is not some Christian, right-wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and it is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools.

If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our "culture." We will accept your beliefs and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us. This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this.

But once you are done complaining and whining about Our Flag, Our Pledge, our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you to take advantage of one other great AMERICAN freedom, "THE RIGHT TO LEAVE".

If you aren't happy here, then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country that accepted you.

NOTE from Mis HHL:

IF we circulate this among ourselves, WE will find the courage to start speaking and voicing the same truths.

If you agree, please SEND THIS ON. As for those who disagree, move to a country that suits you and live there. "

THANK YOU!

Copy and paste if you want...I can't be the only American who feels this way. Peace

Major Trump Advisor Declares Which Major Red State City Will Replace NYC as Financial Capitol Thanks to Mamdani

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani attends a news conference at the headquarters of the NYPD on Jan. 6, 2026 in New York City. (Spencer Platt / Getty Images)

As the political atmosphere got worse and even worser, if that is an expression to use here. I have speculated whether large businesses and investment communities would relocate out of New York City. Many businesspeople have moved. Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Gallagher, Morning Joe, and Mika are a few who have pulled up stakes and said, "No mas." The New York taxes, State and local, plus Federal were eating up too much of their income, and as painful as the decision was, they left.

My thinking was that the really big guys would eventually move as well. I was thinking of the New York Stock Exchange, the big banks, and insurance companies. The industrialists and entrepreneurs would also leave. Restaurants and department stores would also move to lower tax rate states.  Sadly, New York City would be hollowed out by socialism, no, communism.

The question is, where would they go? My thoughts went to Dallas, maybe Atlanta. Silly me. I got it wrong. These guys are not fools. They know when to holdem and when to foldem, to quote Kenny Rogers.

Michael Austin, a writer for The Western Journal, has the answer. Read'em and weep, New York.

David Sacks, an entrepreneur and investor who currently serves as the artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency czar for the Trump administration, predicted that Miami will replace New York City as the nation’s financial capital.

New York City has long been home to the country’s most important banks and financial institutions, serving as a key hub for the global economy.

But amid a stifling business and tax environment as well as elevated crime rates — which many believe will worsen under New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani — some businesses have looked to expand beyond the Big Apple.

Crypto Czar, David Saks

“As a response to socialism, Miami will replace NYC as the finance capital and Austin will replace SF as the tech capital,” Sacks predicted on Jan. 1, the day on which Mamdani was sworn in.

Outgoing now-former Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, a Republican, agreed with the sentiment from the former PayPal executive.

“We’ve already moved companies to Miami — either an office or a headquarters — that collectively manage over 13 trillion dollars in AUM,” Suarez posted, referring to assets under management.

Since 2020, companies like JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, Blackstone, and Icahn Capital Management have expanded their footprints in Miami.

Citadel, the investment firm owned by Ken Griffin, moved their headquarters to the Miami area in recent years as well.

Griffin previously pointed to high crime and an unfriendly business climate as motives for the transition.

“I’ve lived in a failed city-state. I lived in Chicago for 30-some years. I had two colleagues who had bullets fly through their cars,” Griffin told Fox News in November.

“I had 25 bullet holes in the front of my building where I lived. You can’t live in a city awash [with] violent crime,” he added.

Citadel manages roughly $65 billion in assets.

While many financial businesses have indeed moved to Miami in recent years, Suarez was replaced last month by Eileen Higgins, the first Democrat to win election as mayor of Miami since 1998.

The campaign victory came amid broader off-year election wins for Democrats. 1.

Parents in New York Are Upset Over Electric School Busses

The war on electric vehicles is intensifying as the public becomes aware of the shortcomings and failures associated with them. I should confess that my opinion on electric vehicles has changed. There is a place for electric vehicles. For short trips, 150 miles or less in mild weather, an electric vehicle can do a decent job. A fossil fuel vehicle would be a better choice, but that is why we have many flavors. To each his own.

Toyota has abandoned its electric vehicle program. Ford is eating a $19.5 billion debacle for chasing the EV market. For a new wrinkle, parents in New Your are up in arms over the no-heat workaround to save on power in buses taking children home from school.

New York State has mandated that all new school buses must be electric. In their zeal to phase out gas and diesel vehicles, it appears that the legislators in Albany and the Governor have not done their due diligence, homework, if you will.

EV School busses in snow.

As it turns out, electric-powered vehicles and buses require extra power in cold weather to operate properly. Drivers have decided to turn down or turn off the heat inside the bus to increase its reliability. Parents are upset that their children are freezing when riding the bus in the winter. In one case, the bus was unable to run, and the children had to wait outside in freezing temperatures until a replacement bus could arrive. 1.

This is another example of government legislating a political issue rather than what is best for its constituents.

Antisemitism in America

The Gaza Strip was made free when Ariel Sharon removed all the Jews from the area. The Palestinians voted in Hamas to rule.

Antisemitism is on the rise worldwide, and it has reared its ugly head here in America. I have written several blogs about why Muslims hate the Jews in the past, and I still have trouble understanding why anyone would hate Jews. When you compare the advances, discoveries, and contributions of Jews, it is truly amazing that a religion that has been so despised over thousands of years continues to discover and provide medical, scientific, industrial, manufacturing, and spiritual innovations throughout the years.

Compare the Nobel Peace Prizes of the Jews with those of Muslims. There is no comparison. Jews bring good health, happiness, and goodwill. What do Muslims bring? Jews gave us the Ten Commandments, laws of cleanliness, and righteous living. What do Muslims bring to the world?

My friend Betsy Kramer just wrote an article that is so good, I asked if I could reprint it here in my blog. Please read what Betsy has to say.

Antisemitism in America: The Unthinkable Return in 2025

For most of the modern era, American Jews believed they were living in a golden age—an era where antisemitism, though never fully eradicated, had been pushed so far to the margins that it no longer defined Jewish life. It lurked underground, in forgotten corners of the country, among fringe extremists, outdated conspiracy theorists, and the occasional crank caller. It was something our ancestors dealt with. Something our history books documented. Something “over there” and “back then.”

Yet here we are in 2025, facing a reality few could have imagined a decade ago.

For generations, the trajectory seemed clear: antisemitism was shrinking. The post-Holocaust world treated it as a moral abomination. Social norms shifted. Jewish Americans climbed into leadership positions in government, law, science, media, and business. Interfaith dialogue deepened. The Civil Rights Era taught America to confront prejudice openly. Many believed reasonably that bigotry against Jews was becoming socially unacceptable and structurally irrelevant.

Antisemitism didn’t disappear, but it felt like a fading echo.
Then the 2020s arrived and they proved that hate never truly dies. It only waits for the right conditions.

Americans increasingly see each other through the lens of group identity race, class, gender, ideology. In this climate, Jews often find themselves labeled “privileged,” “white,” “colonizers,” or “global influencers,” depending on the accuser’s worldview.

Platforms that thrive on outrage have become megaphones for ancient hatreds. Falsehoods that once took years to circulate now spread worldwide in minutes. The memes are newer, but the tropes are centuries old.

Following the October 7, 2023, massacre and the subsequent war, anti-Israel activism exploded. But criticism of a government quickly morphed into hostility toward Jewish people in general. Jewish students faced intimidation, exclusion from clubs, vandalism, and sometimes physical threats. The shock wasn’t from fringe agitators, it was from mainstream institutions that failed to respond.

Across the country, the resurgence of antisemitism is unmistakable:

  • Campus hostility, where Jewish students are harassed, blocked from spaces, or pressured to renounce Zionism to “belong.”

  • Street-level intimidation, from vandalized synagogues to protesters chanting openly antisemitic slogans.

  • Rising violence, with Jews just about 2% of the population they remain the target of the majority of religiously motivated hate crimes.

  • Conspiratorial rhetoric, recycled from medieval Europe but repackaged for TikTok and X.

  • A chilling normalization, where antisemitic ideas appear in respected cultural, academic, and activist spaces.

The resurgence of antisemitism is not confined to the United States. Just recently in Australia, a violent attack on the Chabad Hanukkah celebration underscored how even moments of joy, faith, and cultural pride have become targets. Hanukkah a holiday centered on light, resilience, and religious freedom was met not with tolerance but with hatred. That an event meant for families, children, and communal celebration could be attacked speaks volumes about the global nature of the threat Jews face today. It is a stark reminder that antisemitism crosses borders easily, traveling across continents and ideologies, leaving no Jewish community untouched.

Who would have imagined that in 2025, the Jewish community would again be explaining the basics of antisemitism to school administrators, civic leaders, and journalists?

Who would have thought that Jewish students would need security escorts on American campuses?

Who would have thought that synagogues across the country would operate like fortified institutions?

Or that ancient slanders would be recited in public without shame?

We believed antisemitism was a diminishing ember. Instead, it was a dormant fire.

Antisemitism is unique among hatreds. It functions simultaneously as a scapegoat and a conspiracy theory, making it endlessly adaptable. In times of social stress economic anxiety, political division, or global conflict it resurfaces, offering simple villains for complex problems.

The resurgence of antisemitism is not merely a Jewish issue; it is a warning sign for society at large. History shows that when antisemitism is tolerated, broader democratic and moral decay follows. Combating it requires clarity, education, institutional accountability, and the courage to apply moral standards consistently.

In 2025, the return of open antisemitism feels both shocking and clarifying. Shocking because we thought we had moved beyond it. Clarifying because it reminds us that vigilance is never optional.

Antisemitism did not disappear. It went quiet.
And now that it has returned, it demands a response that is just as public, just as firm, and just as uncompromising.

Mamdani Just Handed Crime Policy To Man Who Robbed Taxi Drivers

Your friendly New York City Mayor-elect

Zohran Mamdani is wasting no time putting together his "Dream Team" to make everything FREE in New York City. Some of us saw this coming, but most were too busy with our own problems to pay any attention. It has become clear to me that the great city of New York is going down, and it will be very painful for those who stay and eventually, the rest of the country.

This is an article posted by a news agency or blogger; I'm not sure exactly what they are, but they have a good take on NYC Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani's new government. Read 'em and weep, New Yorkers. You asked for Democratic Socialism, and guess what you got.

New York City residents who voted for change got exactly what they bargained for.

But they probably didn't expect the incoming mayor to start handing out government jobs to convicted armed robbers.

And NYC Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani just handed crime policy responsibilities to a man who violently robbed taxi drivers at gunpoint.

Convicted Armed Robber Named To Criminal Justice Committee

Mysonne Linen spent seven years in state prison for armed robbery after terrorizing New York City taxi drivers in the late 1990s.

Now the 49-year-old rapper-turned-activist sits on Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani's criminal justice advisory committee.

Prosecutors proved in court that Linen led a crew that robbed cab driver Joseph Eziri in June 1997, beating him with a beer bottle during the assault.¹

Less than a year later, his crew held up driver Francisco Monsanto at gunpoint, stealing cash and jewelry.¹

Both victims identified Linen as the perpetrator at trial.

Linen rejected a one-year plea deal and gambled on a jury trial.

He lost.

The convicted felon received a sentence of seven to 14 years and served seven before his release on parole in July 2006.²

"This is a testament to our decades of work advocating on behalf of black and brown communities and our expertise in gun violence prevention, legislative advocacy and criminal justice reform," Linen bragged on Instagram after Mamdani announced the appointment.³

The irony is staggering.

Mamdani built his entire campaign around championing taxi drivers as the "unsung heroes" of New York's working class.⁴

Now he's elevated someone who violently attacked those same workers to help shape the city's crime policy.

Mysonne Linen

Law Enforcement Slams Dangerous Appointment

The Correction Officers' Benevolent Association didn't mince words about Mamdani's reckless decision.

"It is both disheartening and deeply disturbing that individuals who are convicted felons and have a history of breaking the law are being given the opportunity to help shape the future of New York's criminal justice system," COBA President Benny Boscio stated.³

"The men and women who risk their lives every day to enforce the law have been shut out from this process entirely," Boscio added.

Recently retired NYPD Chief of Department John Chell said the appointment fits perfectly with Mamdani's pattern of controversial picks.

"It's just another appointed adviser that has a questionable past, which is in line with some of his other recent appointees who were anti-police and establishment," Chell explained to the New York Post.³

"The optics and reality here point to a potential erosion of public safety in New York City."

The Houston Police Officers' Union started recruiting NYPD officers immediately after Mamdani's election victory.

"NYPD, are you disgusted with the election of Zohran Mamdani? Join us!" the union posted on social media.⁵

They're offering officers a 36.5% pay raise over five years, affordable housing, and a police chief "who is a retired Texas Ranger, not a politician."⁵

Mamdani's Radical Transition Team Exposes His Real Agenda

Linen isn't the only controversial figure Mamdani tapped for his transition committees.

Brooklyn College professor Alex Vitale, who literally wrote a book called "The End of Policing," will advise on community safety.⁶

Tamika Mallory, forced out of the Women's March in 2019 over antisemitism allegations, landed on the Committee on Community Safety.⁷

Lumumba Bandele, a black nationalist who has rallied behind cop killers including Assata Shakur and Herman Bell, joined the Committee on Community Organizing.³

The Jewish group Jews Fight Back didn't hold back their assessment.

"Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani just appointed a convicted armed robber to help shape NYC's crime and policing policy," the group posted on X. "Insane. New York City is being handed over to radicals, extremists, and outright terrorists."³

Photos show Linen posing with Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan.³

Linen co-founded the activist group Until Freedom alongside Mallory and radical activist Linda Sarsour.³

Here's what should concern every New Yorker.

Mamdani's transition website initially misspelled both Linen's name and Bandele's name in the official announcement.⁸

New York City Councilwoman Vickie Paladino called out the obvious tactic.

"It's a very old trick to thwart Google searches for/about controversial names," Paladino posted on X.⁸

Mamdani knew these appointments would generate outrage.

So his team tried to hide them by deliberately misspelling names to avoid detection.

That's not transparency.

That's deception.

New York City Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch agreed to stay on despite her disagreements with Mamdani's radical agenda.⁹

But even she warned officers that Mamdani wants to keep NYPD headcount flat, abolish the Strategic Response Group, and eliminate the gang database.⁹

NYPD unions uniformly opposed Mamdani during the election.

Police Benevolent Association President Patrick Hendry warned that Mamdani's election would trigger "a massive exodus" from a department already suffering severe staffing shortages.¹⁰

"We can't afford to have a mayor who ignores the problem or tries to take us backward," Hendry said.¹⁰

New York City voters elected a democratic socialist who promised to revolutionize city government.

They're getting exactly what they voted for.

A mayor who thinks convicted violent criminals belong in City Hall helping make policy decisions.

A mayor who champions working-class heroes like taxi drivers while hiring the people who robbed them at gunpoint.

A mayor whose team deliberately misspells controversial appointees' names to hide them from public scrutiny.

The Houston police union is right to recruit NYPD officers.

Because Mamdani's New York is going to be a very different city.

Words Of Wisdom From Tim Allen

Tim Allen

TIM ALLEN - ON TRUMP: Whatever your feelings for Trump, these are some interesting points that Tim Allen makes. Put your hatred aside and think about these observations. Tim Allen is credited with writing this ...

Tim Allen wrote... Here are some interesting points to think about prior to 2020, especially to my friends on the fence, like moderate Democrats, Libertarians, and Independents, and the never-Trump Republicans and those thinking of "walking away" from the Democratic party:

- Women are upset at Trump’s naughty words -- they also bought 80 million copies of 50 Shades of Grey.

- Not one feminist has defended Sarah Sanders. It seems women’s rights only matter if those women are liberal.

- No Border Walls. No voter ID laws. Did you figure it out yet? But wait... there's more...

- Chelsea Clinton got out of college and got a job at NBC that paid $900,000 per year. Her mom flies around the country speaking out about white privilege. And just like that, they went from being against foreign interference in our elections to allowing non-citizens to vote in our elections.

- President Trump’s wall costs less than the Obamacare website. Let that sink in, America!

- We are one election away from open borders, socialism, gun confiscation, and full-term abortion nationally. We are fighting evil.

- They sent more troops and armament to arrest Roger Stone than they sent to defend Benghazi.

- 60 years ago, Venezuela was 4th on the world economic freedom index. Today, they are 179th, and their citizens are dying of starvation. In only 10 years, Venezuela was destroyed by democratic socialism.

- Russia donated $0.00 to the Trump campaign. Russia donated $145,600,000 to the Clinton Foundation. But Trump was the one investigated!

-

- Alexandria Ocasio Cortez wants to ban cars, ban planes, give out universal income and thinks socialism works. She calls Donald Trump crazy.

- Bill Clinton paid $850,000 to Paula Jones To get her to go away. I don’t remember the FBI raiding his lawyer’s office.

Mamdani’s mother detailed family’s focus on Indian-Ugandan roots despite living in U.S. in 2013 interview: ‘He is not an American at all’

ZOHRAN MAMDANI'S MOM: “HE IS NOT AN AMERICAN AT ALL.” That is a direct quote from Mamdani's mother. What does that mean? He speaks so well that he smiles a lot, and he seems so dedicated to helping his fellow New Yorkers get a better life.  Not so fast, Manny! Some of us are seeing through the cracks, and it ain't pretty. What exactly is a Democratic Socialist? If he is talking about free buses, free food, free health care, taxing the rich, and government takeover of production, that is straight up Communism!

A quote from Mamdani's mother: Mamdani’s mother detailed the family’s focus on Indian-Ugandan roots despite living in the U.S. in a 2013 interview: ‘He is not an American at all’

In a recently unearthed 2013 interview with Indian filmmaker Mira Nair, the mother of Democratic socialist NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, she discussed raising him while emphasizing their family's deliberate efforts to preserve his Indian and Ugandan heritage despite reaping the benefits of living in the U.S. 1 Read the article below to find out more about Zohran Mamdani. You might be surprised.

In a recently unearthed 2013 interview with Indian filmmaker Mira Nair, the mother of Democratic socialist NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, she discussed raising him while emphasizing their family’s deliberate efforts to preserve his Indian and Ugandan heritage despite reaping the benefits of living in the U.S.

Her interview with The Hindustan Times has since gained renewed attention amid Mamdani’s rising political profile as a candidate for New York City mayor, and Nair’s remarks appear to convey his purposeful cultural disconnection from American identity, fueling further debates about his loyalties and worldview.

“He is a total desi. Completely. We are not firangs at all. He is very much us. He is not an Uh-merican (American) at all. He was born in Uganda, raised between India and America. He is at home in many places. He thinks of himself as a Ugandan and as an Indian,” Nair told the outlet in 2013, according to The Hindustan Times.

“Firang” is a term of South Asian and Southeast Asian origin that refers to a foreigner of Western, especially European, origin. Its history traces back to the Arabic word “faranji,” meaning “Frank,” which referred to Crusaders and later Europeans, particularly White Christians, and was generalized in South Asia to mean Westerners. It is often used to highlight perceived foreign “clumsiness, cultural ignorance, or arrogance.”

Mamdani was born on October 18, 1991, in Kampala, Uganda. He moved with his family to the United States at age seven, after spending some time in Cape Town, South Africa. As a child, grew up in Manhattan, New York City, attending the Bank Street School and later the Bronx High School of Science. Mamdani later went on to study Africana Studies at Bowdoin College in Maine, graduating in 2014, and he has described his upbringing as being extremely privileged.

After the 2013 interview went viral this week, India-born conservative political commentator and strategist Mehek Cooke responded soon after, further explaining the derogatory meaning behind the term “firang.”

“It’s the word used back in India to mock outsiders, to say you don’t belong,” Cooke told Fox News. “Using it here about your own child raised in the United States carries the same tone as calling someone a derogatory word – or worse. It’s flippant, divisive, and dripping with contempt for the very country that gave your family a better life.”

“When Mamdani’s mother says her son was ‘never a firang and only desi,’ it’s a rejection of America. It’s ungrateful, disrespectful, and frankly repulsive to live in this country since age seven, receive every freedom, education, and opportunity America offers, and still deny being American,” he continued.

“This isn’t just about identity, it’s about values. Rejecting the label of ‘American’ while living under the flag, enjoying the freedoms, and cashing in on the opportunities is a rejection of American values themselves: gratitude, unity, and pride in country.”

“And if you raise your child to believe he was ‘never a firang,’ never an American, what message are you sending? That he owes nothing to this nation? That he can take the benefits without any sense of belonging or loyalty? That mindset breeds resentment. And that’s exactly what we’re seeing play out in politics today,” Cooke added.

Mamdani’s mother is an Oscar-nominated filmmaker known for making movies that explore cultural identity, social issues, and the “immigrant experience,” often focusing on marginalized communities. Mamdani’s father, Mahmood Mamdani, is a professor of international affairs and anthropology at Columbia University.

The Democratic socialist mayoral candidate also previously faced backlash for the juxtaposition of being a privileged politician after explaining that he would be able to press on with his advocacy if he ever ran out of money because he knew his parents would financially support him.

“I worked until January, and then I took time away from my job, and one of the major reasons I could do that was because I knew that if I ran out of my savings, my family would be able to support me,” Mamdani previously stated.

In a resurfaced 2013 interview, filmmaker Mira Nair said her son, NYC socialist mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, was “not an American at all.” She described him instead as a “total desi” and “not a firang,” a term critics say is used to mock outsiders. 2.

“A true silver spoon socialist right here,” one social media user responded to the clip.

“It’s easy to be a socialist when you’re rich,” another wrote.

“Socialism is the ideology of the pampered upper middle class,” a third user added.

In August, Independent NYC mayoral candidate Andrew Cuomo accused Mamdani of “stealing affordable housing from the poor” via social media posts on X, which garnered millions of views and sparked widespread debate. This led to an ethics complaint filed by a watchdog group in mid-August, questioning whether Mamdani, as a politically connected figure, improperly secured the unit.

“It is outrageous that … a man who presents himself as a champion of the poor would occupy an apartment intended for public housing while thousands of New Yorkers sleep in shelters or on the streets. I was born in Brownsville and understand firsthand what it means to fight for a roof over your head,” stated Mayor Eric Adams in regards to Mamdani’s rent-stabilized apartment.

“Somewhere last night in New York City, a single mother and her children slept at a homeless shelter because you, Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani, are occupying her rent-controlled apartment,” Independent Mayoral candidate Andrew Cuomo added.

Antifa’s Communist Roots, Violent Tactics, and Terror Designation

A presidential order and recent clashes with ICE are drawing attention to the once-obscure, hard-to-define movement.

Far-left extremist group Antifa was propelled back into the spotlight last month when President Donald Trump designated it as a domestic terror organization by executive order.

Earlier this week, two alleged members of the group were charged with providing material support to terrorists over an attack against law enforcement officers on July 5.

In this week's Top Story newsletter, we trace the origins of Antifa to Europe, where it was started as a united front program of the Politburo of the Communist Party of Russia in the early 1920s. It functioned as the violent wing of the Communist Party of Germany.

We also interview Andy Ngo, an independent journalist who was targeted by Antifa for his reporting and was forced to flee the country. Ngo explains that despite claims by the group of lacking a formal structure, it is in fact very organized.

Just after conservative influencer Charlie Kirk was publicly gunned down, authorities revealed that the alleged gunman left behind bullet casings, inscribed with messages such as “Hey, fascist! Catch!”

Law enforcement authorities said last month that they believe the 22-year-old suspect acted alone when he shot Kirk, but are investigating whether anyone else had a role in plotting the killing.

President Donald Trump blamed “the radical left” for inspiring attacks against political figures such as Kirk.

The far-left extremist movement known as Antifa has been tied to “a campaign of violence and terrorism,” Trump wrote in a Sept. 22 executive order, 12 days after Kirk was killed.

Trump designated Antifa a “domestic terrorist organization” and ordered agencies to root out “any and all illegal operations” connected to Antifa and to prosecute perpetrators and their financiers.

In a related memo, Trump highlighted “so-called ‘anti-fascist’ rhetoric” found on the alleged Kirk assassin’s unfired rounds.

Trump’s executive actions and Antifa’s clashes with Immigration and Customs Enforcement in major cities are drawing more public attention to a once-obscure movement that remains hard to define.

Trump said Antifa has recruited young people to riot, assault police, and obstruct federal agents, while also trying to squelch lawful political speech.

Members of Antifa have long argued that people they deem to be fascists or oppressors deserve no platform to spread their viewpoints and that violence is justified if other silencing tactics fail. Alleged fascists must be stopped by “any means necessary,” the movement’s leaders say, and the phrase has become synonymous with Antifa.

“Only mass antifascism, legal or not, can save us,” Mark Bray, author of “The Anti-Fascist Handbook,” wrote on the Bluesky social media platform on Oct. 4.

Antifa’s ultimate goal is less obvious and more menacing than that, Trump and others warn.

The president’s Sept. 22 order declared: “Antifa is a militarist, anarchist enterprise that explicitly calls for the overthrow of the United States Government, law enforcement authorities, and our system of law.”

A trio of Democratic congress members and others denounced the Republican president’s order as an unenforceable, unconstitutional attempt to criminalize political opposition. Others pushed back against Trump’s description of Antifa as a group rather than an ideology.

People victimized by Antifa, including some journalists, commend Trump for taking action against a shadowy movement that arose from communist roots and became increasingly influential, well-coordinated, and dangerous.

How Antifa Started

Antifascism began as a response to Italian dictator Benito Mussolini in the 1920s. His National Fascist Party was named after a symbol of penal power in ancient Rome, the “fasces,” a bundle of rods with an axe.

Fascists embraced “extreme militaristic nationalism, contempt for electoral democracy and political and cultural liberalism,” according to Britannica.

In 1932, Antifaschistische Aktion (Antifascist Action), a communist-led militant group that confronted Nazi stormtroopers in Germany, gave the modern Antifa movement its nickname and symbols that are still in use today, such as the raised-fist salute.

The Antifa movement persisted for decades in Europe before spreading to the United States via punk rock culture.

By the 1980s, a group called Anti-Racist Action had risen to prominence in the United States; later, it dissolved into smaller, decentralized groups.

Since the 2000s, Antifa groups have grown globally, largely thanks to the digital age; encrypted messaging networks have enabled Antifa to communicate privately and evade detection.

Although the most prominent Antifa groups in the United States are situated on the West Coast, the earliest groups emerged in the Midwest, including far-left skinheads known as “Baldies” in Minneapolis.

What Is Antifa?

Antifa, in many ways, defies description; journalist Andy Ngo and others told The Epoch Times that’s by design.

“It’s meant to appear as if there is no organization, but they are organized,” said Ngo, author of the 2021 book that became a New York Times best-seller, “Unmasked: Inside Antifa’s Radical Plan to Destroy Democracy.”

Ngo, the son of Vietnamese immigrants who escaped communism, delved into exposing Antifa for years in his hometown of Portland, Oregon. After repeated harassment, threats, and beatings—one severe enough to cause a life-threatening brain bleed—Ngo relocated outside of the United States.

In 2020, when then-FBI Director Christopher Wray and others called Antifa “an ideology” rather than an “organization,” that description was correct but “incomplete,” Ngo said, because what matters is how people organize around that ideology.

“Antifa is the decentralized movement of autonomous networks, groups, cells, and individuals who follow an ideology of violent anarchism and communism,” he said, adding that these people are united in their goal of destroying the United States and all of its institutions.

He said Antifa often commits “violence for the sake of violence,” and may randomly smash a local business as “an attack on capitalism.”

Although the Antifa Torch Network lists seven active U.S. chapters, no national Antifa group exists. And “there isn’t necessarily a specific shared ideology among those who label themselves anti-fascists,” according to a September report from the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data project. That nonprofit research group, based in Wisconsin, tracks political violence and protests worldwide.

Antifa attracts socialists, communists, and anarchists, but some Antifa adherents may not align with any of those belief systems, according to the report.

Antifa members often wave black-and-red flags and gather en masse in all-black clothing, known as the “black bloc,” a typical German Antifa tactic to make individual members harder to identify. But even those visual cues don’t reliably identify who is Antifa and who isn’t, the report stated.

Terry Newsome, a Chicago-area parental-rights activist who became the target of Antifa death threats and doxxing after he became vocal about school COVID-19 restrictions in 2020, told The Epoch Times that “there are tons of ‘Antifa wannabes,’” young people who think it’s cool to associate with Antifa. He’s also convinced that there are a lot of “paid, full-time agitators,” based on seeing the same people show up at numerous protests.

Newsome said it would be preposterous for Antifa to have “an org chart,” showing who the group’s leaders are; illicit operations such as drug cartels don’t compile those or hand out membership cards. Neither does Antifa.

An Insider’s View

Gabriel Nadales, a self-described ex-Antifa participant, wrote in his 2020 book, “Antifa stands for antifascist, but the name is deceptive. … Anyone who dares to criticize the group or its tactics can be labeled a fascist.”

In “Behind the Black Mask: My Time as an Antifa Activist,” Nadales said that many news reports “oversimplify this radical movement.”

Anti-American sentiment is a primary driver of Antifa, he wrote, rather than opposition to fascism.

While he participated in Antifa actions from 2011 to 2012, Nadales said, news outlets mistakenly reported that anarchists orchestrated events that Antifa had actually led.

Rose City Antifa in Portland, Oregon, the nation’s oldest continuously active group using the Antifa name, formed in 2007 to “shut down a neo-Nazi skinhead festival,” its website states.

To explain the ideologies it opposes, the group wrote: “Fascism can be hard to define. … The term has also come to be used to label any idea that is authoritarian, right-wing, or even just disliked.”

Rose City Antifa lists numerous stances that it may consider “fascist,” ranging from white supremacy to opposition of labor unions; the group deems a movement “fascist” if it embraces “a majority” of the listed characteristics.

“Militant opposition to fascism creates the social consequences that make becoming a fascist in the first place a lot less appealing,” the group states.

Rose City Antifa says it doesn’t work with police or courts because “we cannot count on state actors to push forward the cause of justice, equity, and community safety.”

Nadales said other leftists also commit violence, but “Antifa exemplifies the worst of this dangerous ideology, which is becoming bolder and more prevalent in American society.”

“Many politicians refuse to see Antifa for the violent movement that it is because they blindly see Antifa as an ally—since it opposes President Trump,” Nadales wrote. “Further, they fear that Antifa will target them next.”

Escalation During Trump Era

When Trump was inaugurated as the nation’s 45th president, hundreds of protesters smashed windows, blocked traffic, and scuffled with police in Washington. Some of the black-clad vandals were reportedly Antifa affiliates, according to “The Anti-Fascist Handbook.”

Bray wrote that he rushed to publish the 2017 book shortly after Trump first took office, feeling an urgency to combat “a resurgence of white-supremacist and fascistic violence” and the “tumultuous climate of the Trump era.”

Trump’s name is mentioned at least 85 times in Bray’s book. Toward the end, Bray wrote, “Our goal should be that in twenty years those who voted for Trump are too uncomfortable to share that fact in public.”

Bray calls the book “an unabashedly partisan call to arms.”

Based on interviews with 61 current and former anti-fascists from 17 countries, the book argues that “militant anti-fascism is a reasonable, historically informed response to the fascist threat” that persisted after 1945 and became more “menacing” prior to Trump’s first presidency.

Bray decried “an alarming lurch to the right” in Europe and the United States following the 2008 economic crisis.

In 2016, while Trump was running for office, the FBI and Department of Homeland Security, under President Barack Obama, began monitoring Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization. Those concerns arose over violence at Trump campaign rallies dating to at least April 2016.

In 2019, after Antifa activists attacked Ngo and others in Portland, Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Bill Cassidy (R-La.) proposed designating Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization. The proposal went nowhere.

Antifa at the G20 Summit

Antifa Rises to Prominence

Public awareness of Antifa soared during the summer of 2020. Members of the group sided with Black Lives Matter to protest against police and alleged “systemic racism” after the death of George Floyd, a black Minneapolis man, in police custody. Rioters destroyed businesses, set buildings and vehicles on fire, and fought with police across the nation.

Antifa exploited “justifiable indignation” that many people felt over Floyd’s death, and “used the anger as a springboard to push their radical left-wing agenda,” Nadales wrote.

The core motivation was not to demand police reform and prevent similar deaths, but rather that “the violence was targeted at destroying the private property of innocent Americans because Antifa hates capitalism and everything America stands for,” Nadales said in his book.

As Bray wrote in his book, even as times changed, Antifa’s commitment “to stamp out fascism by any means necessary” remains intact and connects the movement to its earliest origins.

Following Trump’s recent domestic-terror designation of Antifa, Bray and at least one other prominent Antifa adherent fled to Europe. Bray said he and his family no longer felt safe in their U.S. home.

An Antifa organization that benefited from proceeds of Bray’s book announced that it had shut down donation-processing operations because of Trump’s order.

The International Anti-Fascist Defence Fund took the step “to protect our donors and recipients,” its website states. The group said it was looking to resume operations “in a country not currently governed by fascists.”

What’s Next?

Trump said that his administration, led by Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, is tracking down who is funding Antifa-related activities such as commercially printed signage.

The president said those who financially support Antifa “are going to be just as guilty as the people that smack people over the head with a baseball bat.”

Ngo said that some grants from philanthropic groups eventually filter down to Antifa, which also benefits from crowdfunding and donations from around the world.

Some aspects of Antifa’s apparatus have moved underground, Ngo said, predicting that Antifa will “try to lay low, depend on the media to run cover for them, and hope that they get a Democrat in office again, who will undo the executive orders … [and] obviously not view Antifa as a domestic terrorist threat.”

Ngo, who participated in an Oct. 8 White House roundtable discussion about Antifa, said he hopes that his reporting provides insights that will help investigators.

He also suggests that, if people accept that Antifa opposes fascism, they should also wonder what the group supports.

“What Antifa is for is violence, destruction, murder, an abolishment of the liberal democratic order,” Ngo said. “It’s quite actually ironic in many ways that Antifa act as shock troops for people who claim to care about those institutions and values and concepts.”

Ngo suggested that rather than just listening to him, people should watch videos of Antifa violence, “and you can see how organized it is,” he said. “Watch that and then ask yourself, ‘What is that in furtherance of?’”

  • FBI agents revealed a clear resolve to implement President Donald Trump’s directive to disrupt and dismantle Antifa, a far-left group tied to violent protests and clashes with police and federal agents, according to a pair of nationally known media figures who said they were interviewed by agents.

  • Key figures linked to Antifa have fled the United States following President Donald Trump’s designation of the group as a domestic terrorist organization. Johan Victorin, founder of “Rose City Antifa,” a group based in Portland, Oregon, a city that has had frequent Antifa activity during protests, was seen on Oct. 6 in the city of Vaberg, Sweden, according to an X post and video by Swedish investigative journalist Christian Peterson. According to Project Veritas, which did an undercover exposé of Rose City in 2020, Victorin is a dual citizen of Sweden and the United States.

  • Two alleged members of a Texas cell of the far-left extremist group Antifa have been charged with providing material support to terrorists, in the first terrorism-related charges brought against people allegedly linked to the network over an attack against law enforcement officers that unfolded on July 4.

  • The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) stated on Oct. 11 that federal agents arrested a Chicago rioter for allegedly carrying a loaded firearm with “multiple rounds of ammunition” during protests outside an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Broadview, Illinois, last month.

On the Front Line of Exposing Antifa, Andy Ngo Recalls Violent Attacks

Investigative journalist Andy Ngo fled a group of violent Antifa protesters in Portland, Oregon, in May 2021, he told Jan Jekielek on an episode of EpochTV’s “American Thought Leaders”.

Ngo said he feared for his life and that he cried out for assistance as he ran, his heart pounding.

“I didn’t know I could run that fast,” he said. “I’m running through downtown, sprinting, screaming for help, and nobody helps.”

Ngo, now 39, recounted the harrowing experience that unfolded late on a Friday night.

“I ran in the middle of the cars in the streets at the red light, pounding on windows and cars asking for help, and when the light turned green, they drove off,” Ngo said.

Moments later, the mob caught up with him.

He ultimately escaped to a nearby hotel, but a previous encounter in Portland had left him hospitalized.

In that 2019 incident, rioters attacked Ngo, beating and choking him until blood vessels in his eyes burst and his brain began hemorrhaging.

“That was my one near-death experience,” Ngo said. “And I was just thinking about my family and those I cared for and loved.”

No arrests were made after either assault. (More)

Mandami promises over $100 million for illegals

Zoran Mandami, candidate for New York City Mayor

Taking a page out of the Communist playbook, Zoran Mandami wants to provide illegal aliens with 100 million dollars. In true Communist dogma, the money will come from the taxpayers of New York. You ask, " How can this be possible?" How can Mandami be so popular when he has such controversial planks in his platform? Illegal criminals would be exempt from getting these funds. Thanks for giving your constituents a break. 1.

There is also a movement afoot to give illegal aliens funds for lawyers to advise and represent them in court to stop removing them back to their home country. We see that the Democrats, led by Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries, want to stall the removal of illegals and even criminals, to be returned to their country of origin. This could take years to adjudicate all the illegals and cost the government, the US Taxpayer, millions of dollars.  Obviously, the Democrats do not care what it costs and who pays for it. Do you want your tax dollars to help illegals stay in the US and drain our resources forever?

Will The Government Shut Down This Time?

President Donald Trump walks to Air Force One at Morristown Airport on Sept. 14, 2025, in Morristown, New Jersey. (Kevin Dietsch / Getty Images)

Ho hum, it's crunch time again. The Government is going to run out of money, and our intrepid leaders in Congress are trying to see who blinks first. The Republicans want a CR or "Continuing Resolution," or just keep funding the same, and address the issue in seven weeks.

The Democrats are trying to flex their muscles and get some outrageous perks. Wouldn't it be better if the Left would just sit down like gentlemen and hack out a reasonable compromise? That would give Donald Trump a victory, and the Democrats can't have that. Instead of serving their constituents, the people who voted for them, the Democrats have made some really crazy demands for added funds to be attached to the budget, and it looks like they are going to be embarrassed again.

To me, shutting down the government, Washington, D.C. Style, is nonsense. They pay the workers when the government is funded, and the workers do nothing to earn that taxpayer money. It is basically a vacation with pay for the workers who were locked out during the shutdown.

This time it will be different!

"Trump said Democrats want “over 1 Trillion Dollars in new spending to continue free healthcare for Illegal Aliens (A monumental cost!), force Taxpayers to fund Transgender surgery for minors, have dead people on the Medicaid roles, allow Illegal Alien Criminals to steal Billions of Dollars in American Taxpayer Benefits, try to force our Country to again open our Borders to Criminals and to the World, allow men to play in women’s sports, and essentially create Transgender operations for everybody.” 1.

The Senate needs seven Democratic votes to pass this bill. If the government shuts down, Trump has implied that it will be very painful for the democrats. The President is toying with the idea of further reducing the federal workforce and federal programs. " We are going to extract maximum pain." 2. This is from a White House official who told Politico.

The White House is playing hardball here, and the Democrats, instead of doing their job, are infected with "Trump Derangement Syndrome." Cooler heads must prevail for the Democrats in the Senate, or they will lose even more voters as additional workers are cut and more programs go bye bye.

"We Are All Charlie Kirks"

Radicals spray-painted ‘KILL ALL CHARLIE KIRKS’ on Seattle campus and what happened next will make your blood boil

Image by wong yu liang via Shutterstock

This is an article posted by Seattle reporter Jonathan Choe. I find it appalling that the Left is capable of such hate. Make no mistake, these people are out to destroy America. Read what Choe has to say.

Charlie Kirk’s assassination has unleashed something truly evil across America.

The radical left isn’t mourning or staying silent about political violence.

And radicals spray-painted "KILL ALL CHARLIE KIRKS" on a Seattle campus and what happened next will make your blood boil.

Leftist terrorists escalate threats against conservatives

Professional agitators in Seattle wasted no time celebrating Charlie Kirk’s murder and threatening more violence.

The day after Tyler Robinson assassinated Kirk at Utah Valley University, someone defaced Seattle Central College with a chilling message.

"KILL ALL CHARLIE KIRKS" was scrawled across the bricks at the college entrance – a direct call for more assassinations.

Seattle reporter Jonathan Choe documented the vandalism and shared it across social media platforms.¹

"This is obviously a threat," Choe wrote. "But what the far-left doesn’t realize is that this madness is actually catalyzing reasonable Americans to now say, ‘WE ARE ALL CHARLIE KIRK.’"

He added: "Courage is contagious and the movement will continue."

The college vandalism wasn’t where these sick celebrations ended.

Another extremist paraded through downtown Seattle carrying a sign proclaiming "Charlie Kirk shot hell yes!!"

These weren’t grief-stricken Americans processing tragedy.

These were coordinated victory celebrations by domestic terrorists who got exactly what they wanted.

HAPPENING NOW: Some whack-job just spray painted “KILL ALL CHARLIE KIRKS” on the Seattle Central College sign. This is obviously a threat. But what the far-left doesn’t realize is that this madness is actually catalyzing reasonable Americans to now say, “WE ARE ALL CHARLIE KIRK.” Show more

Memorial service becomes target for leftist harassment

Americans organized a candlelight vigil Wednesday evening to honor Kirk’s memory and support his grieving family.

Citizens gathered peacefully to remember a young father who dedicated his life to empowering conservative students across America.

Radical leftists couldn’t even let grieving Americans mourn in peace.

Video shows extremist agitators descending on the memorial service to disrupt the proceedings and openly celebrate Kirk’s assassination.

These professional troublemakers turned a solemn tribute into their personal victory party.

The footage captures everything you need to know about today’s radical left – they view conservative assassination as cause for celebration, not condemnation.

“I support Charlie Kirk’s killer. He did us a favor, I would have killed him myself” Seattle protestor says at candle lit vigil for Charlie Kirk, the day he died.

This coordinated response exposes the real agenda

Look at what happened in Seattle and tell me this was random.

Someone vandalizes college property with assassination threats against conservatives.

Signs appear downtown celebrating Kirk’s murder.

Agitators show up to disrupt memorial services for the victim.

All of this unfolds in the same city, on the same day, with the same message.

You don’t get that level of coordination without organization and planning.

The same people who spent four years screaming about Trump being a threat to democracy are now throwing parties because someone murdered a 31-year-old conservative.

They’re not even pretending to oppose political violence anymore.

They’re embracing it and demanding more.

The message targets every conservative in America

Here’s the part that should terrify every patriotic American.

The graffiti didn’t say "Charlie Kirk is dead" – acknowledging what already happened.

It said "KILL ALL CHARLIE KIRKS" – demanding more assassinations of conservatives who dare speak up.

This isn’t about one activist who built Turning Point USA into a conservative powerhouse.

They want every conservative to look at what happened to Kirk and think twice about standing up.

The message couldn’t be clearer – start a conservative group on campus, defend traditional marriage, or get young people excited about America, and they’ll put you in their crosshairs.

They’re counting on conservatives to see Kirk’s bloody body and decide speaking up isn’t worth it.

When they couldn’t win the debate, they decided to start shooting the debaters.

Real Americans won’t be silenced by assassination

But these radical terrorists made one crucial miscalculation.

Americans don’t respond to intimidation by surrendering – we respond by standing up stronger than before.

Reporter Choe got it exactly right when he said this madness is making Americans declare "WE ARE ALL CHARLIE KIRK."

Instead of terrorizing conservatives into silence, Kirk’s assassination is awakening millions of Americans to what we’re really fighting.

Every death threat spray-painted on college campuses exposes the true nature of today’s radical left.

Every celebration of assassination shows Americans that this isn’t about policy disagreements – it’s about the survival of our constitutional republic.

Charlie Kirk spent his final years warning that radical leftists wanted to destroy America from the inside.

Seattle just proved him right in the most disgusting way imaginable.

The only question left is whether Americans will honor Kirk’s sacrifice by continuing his fight, or let domestic terrorists intimidate us into surrendering the country he died defending.

Kirk’s legacy depends on our answer.

Donald Trump and the Quest for Peace in Ukraine

As a former president and influential international figure, Donald Trump has often spoken about the conflict in Ukraine and his desire to see it end. Trump’s primary goal is to negotiate a peaceful resolution that restores stability and prevents further bloodshed. He has emphasized that a diplomatic approach, rather than prolonged military conflict, is the best way forward. Trump advocates for talks between Ukraine, Russia, and other involved parties, believing that dialogue can lead to a compromise that respects Ukraine’s sovereignty while addressing Russia’s security concerns. His aim is to foster an environment where diplomacy replaces war, and long-term peace can be established.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s primary objective is the restoration of Ukraine’s territorial integrity. Since Russia’s invasion, Zelensky has focused on defending Ukraine’s sovereignty and securing military and financial aid from Western allies. He seeks international support to push back Russian advances and regain control of territories like Crimea and parts of Donbas. Zelensky’s goal extends beyond territorial claims; he desires peace but insists on conditions that respect Ukraine’s independence and prevent future aggression. For Zelensky, peace must be sustainable and rooted in justice, which involves holding Russia accountable and ensuring Ukraine’s security through reforms and alliances

President Donald Trump

President Volodymyr Zelensky

Zelensky wants security. President Trump and most of Europe have agreed to post troops on the borders of Ukraine to stop any further Russian intervention. In my opinion, Russia must be held to pay for the restoration of Ukraine. Russia is responsible for the devastation and killing in Ukraine and Russia should pay to rebuild and compensate families who have been affected. President Trump must be willing to put tariffs on Russia to stop the sale of oil and natural gas. This will impact countries like China, India, and Europe. who depend on Russian fossil fuels to survive. add more words.

Russia’s President Vladimir Putin’s aims are more strategic. Putin’s decision to attack Ukraine was driven by a belief that restoring Russia’s influence and “greatness” involves re-establishing the Soviet Union’s former power. He sees Ukraine as an integral part of Russia’s sphere of influence and has fought to bring it back under Russian control. It is a bitter pill to swallow but Putin wants Ukraine to give up Chimera and the Donbas Region. Putin is holing out for more territory in Ukraine from which he can drive to Kyiv, the Ukrainian Capitol, after Trump leaves office.

This invasion has caused immense suffering, resulting in the deaths of millions—mostly Russian soldiers and Ukrainian civilians—while the older aspiration to recreate a Russian-dominated Eurasian bloc has led to widespread devastation, including the loss of one million men form Russia. Putin initially believed the war would last just a few weeks, but it has now dragged into its third year, illustrating how wrong his expectations were. The Ukrainians have fought fiercely, resisting Russian advances and fighting the invaders to a standstill. Despite this resilience, the prolonged conflict has drained resources and morale on both sides. Ukraine has also lost many men and civilians in this terrible war.

President Vladimir Putin

However, the tide is turning as Russia’s larger troop numbers and munitions supplies make victory increasingly unlikely on the battlefield. Even with substantial support from Europe and the United States, Ukraine cannot sustain such fighting indefinitely. The economic and human costs are too high, and victory on the battlefield seems increasingly elusive for Russia. Ultimately, peace can only be achieved through negotiations. Both sides have invested heavily—some would say too much—to win the conflict militarily, but diplomacy remains the only viable path toward a sustainable resolution. A negotiated peace would involve compromises, possibly including territorial concessions and security guarantees, and must respect Ukraine’s sovereignty.

In conclusion, whether peace is possible remains uncertain. While all parties desire stability, their differing objectives create significant obstacles. Trump’s diplomatic aspirations contrast with Zelensky's steadfast fight for sovereignty and Putin’s strategic ambitions rooted in restoring Russia’s former greatness. Achieving peace requires compromises, mutual understanding, and concessions from all sides. Although challenging, dialogue and international cooperation offer hope that a peaceful resolution can eventually be reached, ending the devastating conflict in Ukraine. Only through negotiation can lasting peace be secured, preventing further suffering and rebuilding hope for the future.

US Army Unleashed One Weapon That Left Enemy Drone Program Bosses White As A Ghost

This is not a political article but I am posting here on my blog because it illustrates how American ingenuity keeps us ahead of our enemies.

Drones in flight

Combatants in overseas wars have been getting way too comfortable with their cheap drone swarms lately.

The days of effective flying junk bought off the internet or paid for by US taxpayers could be coming to an end.

But the US Army just unleashed one devastating new weapon system that’s about to change everything – and enemy drone program bosses are probably losing sleep tonight.

American Innovation Strikes Back

Over the skies of Fort Rucker, Alabama, something extraordinary happened that should send a chill down the spine of every adversary planning drone attacks on American forces.

The Army strapped a Claymore landmine to a quadcopter and used it to hunt down and obliterate another drone mid-flight.¹

This wasn’t some desperate improvisation like we’ve seen from Ukrainian and Russian forces – this was American military engineering at its finest, turning a defensive weapon into an offensive game-changer.

The target drone didn’t stand a chance. The 7.7-pound SkyRaider was flying along when Army Chief Warrant Officer Nathan Shea took control of the armed quadcopter and began the hunt.²

When the quad got within range, Shea gave the fire command and 700 steel ball bearings traveling at lethal velocity turned the enemy drone into confetti.

Claymore Mine

Why This Changes Everything

Here’s what makes this so brilliant – and so terrifying for our enemies.

The Claymore mine is already one of the most effective defensive weapons ever created. It’s been protecting American soldiers for almost 70 years with its simple but devastating design.³

The curved block of C-4 explosive launches those 700 ball bearings in a 60-degree arc up to 330 feet away. It’s overkill for taking down drones, but that’s exactly the point.

Now imagine you’re a hostile commander planning to send cheap drone swarms against American positions. Suddenly, those swarms aren’t facing just electronic warfare or conventional weapons – they’re facing hunter-killer drones that can eliminate multiple targets with one shot.

The psychological effect alone is massive. Your drone operators know they’re not just risking losing equipment – they’re facing weapons specifically designed to turn their flying machines into scrap metal.

The Real Strategic Picture

This development comes at exactly the right time. Our adversaries have been studying conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, learning how to use commercial drones as weapons.⁴

They thought they found a cheap way to level the playing field against American military superiority.

They were wrong.

What we’re seeing here is classic American innovation – taking an existing weapon system and finding a completely new way to use it that nobody else thought of first.

The Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center calls it Project Shank, and it’s focused on giving individual soldiers portable, lethal drone capabilities.⁵

Think about what that means. Instead of needing complex air defense systems, a single American soldier could potentially neutralize multiple enemy drones with one shot.

The recoil from the Claymore explosion was so massive it temporarily knocked out communications with the attacking drone – but the tough American-built quad survived and reestablished contact.⁶

That tells you everything about the devastating power we’re talking about here.

Commercial Grade Drone

Sending a Message

The timing of this test wasn’t accidental. With tensions rising globally and adversaries increasingly relying on drone swarms, America just demonstrated that we’re not going to play defense forever.

Enemy forces using cheap commercial drones thought they were being clever. They figured quantity could overcome American quality.

This Claymore-armed quadcopter just proved them spectacularly wrong.

The best part? This is probably just the beginning. Democrat and RINO warmongers forced America to pay for all those drones in Ukraine.  They unleashed this new age of military innovation and now they’ve figured out they better have some really good countermeasures as it may not be long before the cartels start flying them into America.

How the Democratic Party Became the Party of War: A Deep Dive into Endless Conflicts and Militarism

How the Democratic Party transformed from anti-war champions to a party of perpetual conflict. Explore the shift in values and growing militarism.

How the Democratic Party Became the Party of War

The Democratic Party was once a party that was against war. Most of us remember the Democrats demonstrating against the Vietnam War. Some went to Canada to avoid service in the military, and some went to jail in defense of their position against war. Some guy, "John Kerry", threw away his medals earned in the war. John F. Kennedy and his brother Robert F. Kennedy, Sr, were for diplomacy during the Cold War and worked to end the Vietnam War. An irony, the Vietnam War started when John Kennedy was president.

Obama's Drone Program and the Legacy of Endless War

Under Barack Obama, the Democrats became more comfortable with the concept of war. Obama wanted to end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, but the coming of age of drone warfare kept the wars going. Later, the Hellfire missiles resulted in thousands of deaths, including women and children." 1

The Ukraine and Israel Conflicts: Unwavering Support for Military Solutions

The Biden Administration has sent U.S. dollars, over 200 billion, and munitions to Ukraine to help in their war with Russia. They justify this by noting that Russia is our enemy and that Russia invaded Ukraine. The Republicans do not have clean hands here either. Lindsey Graham, a senator from South Carolina, and others were happy to support Ukraine in repelling the Russian invaders.

The Influence of the Military-Industrial Complex

The Military-Industrial Complex that President Eisenhower warned us about has infiltrated the two major political parties and generates a substantial amount of money from military manufacturing. "The financial interests of powerful corporations like Lockheed Martin, Boeing, and Raytheon have become intertwined with American foreign policy, ensuring that military solutions remain at the forefront of international strategy." 2.

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., laments the fact that the Democratic Party has abandoned its roots championed by his father and his uncle, by advocating for more and more military spending, albeit with quite a bit of waste and graft. Kennedy has expressed fears that if Kamala Harris is elected president would revert to these expenditures to perpetuate the wars with no end in sight.
